You'll likely have downtime while traveling this summer, be it waiting for a plane or passing time in a car.
So why not beat the heat with a handful of cool video games? Launch a game on your cellphone, iPod, Nintendo DS or PlayStation Portable.
Last week, video game writer Marc Saltzman highlighted portable picks for kids to teens; today, we look at digital diversions for adults, but all are rated "Everyone."
'Lost'
If you can't wait until next February to see what happens to Jack, Kate and Sawyer, Lost - the video game - is now playing on your fifth-generation (video) iPod. Based on the hit ABC television show, this Gameloft adventure drops you into the middle of the mysterious island, where you must complete increasingly challenging missions that range from safely navigating around the camp and hunting for food to blowing open the hatch and facing off against The Others.
While not a long game, it should help bridge the gap until Season 4 begins.
Lost is available for $4.99 at the iTunes store.
