iPod city guides download for free: over 300 cities in your iPod

  Wcities’ Pod CityGuides are free iPod note file packages with information on thousands of hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions in over 300 cities.
Choose a continent and city, download and install a Pod CityGuide on your iPod for free before you travel, for a pocket reference to a new place.

Will this work on the 1st or 2nd generation iPods? What about the iPod Shuffle?
Unfortunately, the 1st and 2nd generation iPods do not include the 'Notes' feature, which means they cannot support Pod CityGuides. The iPod Shuffle has no visual display, so it doesn't support Pod CityGuides for obvious reasons. Pod CityGuides are supported on all other iPods.
How many Pod CityGuides can I install onto my iPod?
There is no limit to the number of Pod CityGuides you can install, but iPods have a limit of 1,000 note files, which are the files used to create the Pod CityGuides. Thus, you may run into problems loading too many cities, especially larger cities. To check the number of files you are using, right-click the "Wcities Cityguide" folder and select "Properties." The Properties window will tell you how many files are in the directory (near the bottom).
