Today Speck Products announced SpeckTone Retro- the first product in a line of fashion and performance focused speaker systems for iPod.
SpeckTone Retro looks like nothing you've seen for the iPod.
The clean lines and nostalgic elegance of 1950's style makes a statement without replicating or competing with the modern, sleek look of the iPod itself. The all wood, sonically tuned speaker cabinet is finished with a high-gloss lacquered "piano finish," a gorgeous high-end feature previously available only on speaker sets 5 times the price of SpeckTone Retro.
Facts & figures
Compact in size yet substantial in sound, the SpeckTone Retro rocks hard and loud with a 28 watt output, 4" subwoofer for pumping bass, and two 3" drivers. The analog circuitry inside completes the retro spirit and sound of the product, producing rich, deep tones and blowing away any and all competitors in the $150 price range.
SpeckTone Retro is available in 3 high-gloss lacquered finishes.
Go totally retro with the signature green/brown color combo, keep it sleek and modern with the black-on-black, or pay homage to the 'classic' iPod look with the white and silver SpeckTone.
